September 11, 2001 was a turning point in the life of America, and a turning point in the proud history of our nation’s first responders as well.
The Principles of what would become Guard Line were all intimately involved in Post-9/11 rescue and recovery efforts, and were instrumental in helping to shift resources from industrial applications to the needs of the emergency services community. When this effort came to a close, we turned our efforts to the urgent task of more fully addressing those needs by forming Guard Line Fire and Safety Co., Inc.
Guard Line, a spin-off from a 75-year-old industrial safety company located in Northern New Jersey, is dedicated to providing personal protective equipment and tools for the American Firefighter. Since incorporation in May 2003, our growth has been explosive.
Today, we have a complete Service Center with mobile service capabilities, and seven MSA-certified repair technicians. Our employees have over 75 years of combined expertise in fire safety, fire fighting and EMS fields. Every product we offer our customers is produced by the “Best In Class Manufacturers.” Our service levels are second to none. Guard Line Fire and Safety Co., Inc., is North Jersey’s premier MSA dealer, as well as a Lion Apparel’s (Janesville) master dealer. We have supplied over 150 MSA Thermal Imaging Camera’s to FDNY, and are the leading dealer in Cairns EMS/Rescue Helmets.
